COMPANY LAUNCHES FREE PUMP SIZING & SELECTION INTERNET SERVICE  

August 13, 2002 Lacey, WA  – PUMP-FLO Solutions, a worldwide leader of Windows and Web-based pump selection software, today announced the launch of PUMP-FLO.com (www.pump-flo.com), the free pump sizing and selection internet portal.  

PUMP-FLO.com is a service for pump buyers, sellers, and educators to size, select and configure centrifugal pumps from leading manufacturers’ catalogs. PUMP-FLO.com has entered into strategic partnerships with leading manufacturers such as Patterson Pump, Griswold Pump, Hydroflo Pumps, and Jensen to name a few. These manufacturers’ catalogs are currently available for selection on PUMP-FLO.com.

PUMP-FLO.com allows users to select from a manufacturer’s catalog of choice to generate a dynamic pump curve based on a system design point search. Additional search criteria includes: fluid properties, motor sizing, NPSH calculations, pump limits, and system operating points. Once a dynamic pump curve is generated, users have the ability to trim impeller diameters, adjust operating speeds, and dynamically generate PDF curves & data sheet reports.  
The PUMP-FLO.com selection engine is powered by PUMP-FLO™, the industry standard pump selection software developed by Engineered Software, Inc. (www.eng-software.com). The PUMP-FLO technology has a user-base of over 80,000 worldwide.
